About Us

The Villages RV Club was founded in 1990. At that time, there were 5 RVs, belonging to residents of The Villages. Our club has grown to hundreds of RVs and is still growing.

The Villages RV Club is open to any Villages resident with a recreational vehicle, to include trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes.

We are a social club that holds social activities during the year, such as a club picnic in May and a holiday rally or party in December, but primarily sponsor rallies from 3 to 7 days around Florida and surrounding states. Occasionally there are rallies encompassing weeks and long trips to other parts of the country. Participation at a rally can be from 10 or 12 rigs upwards to 30-40 rigs depending upon campground accommodations and membership interest. Members plan the rallies and then hold signups at the monthly meetings. Costs vary depending on the campgrounds used, length of trip, and activities planned by the wagonmaster.

The club also holds ‘New to RVing’ and ‘Rally Planning for Wagon Master’ seminars periodically. Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of each month - except June, July and August – and usually December (due to the Holiday rally or party schedule). For each meeting, we normally have one or more guest speakers, a 50-50, signups for rallies and events, club merchandise for sale, and announcements.
